I Know You Don’t Like LinkedIn, But…

Yes, I know you don’t like LinkedIn.

I don’t like LinkedIn. No one really likes LinkedIn.

Too often, it’s a place where people I don’t know endorse me for things I don’t do. Its user experience is muddled and confusing, and they send too many damn emails.

But LinkedIn is really great for targeting a piece of content to reach a desired audience. Remember, if you build a piece of content, they won’t come – at least in large numbers. You generally need to “boost” it – that is pay the platform to ensure more people see it in their feed.

On LinkedIn you can segment the user population in a myriad of ways to reach people based on their location, industry, job title, company size and more. It can get incredibly precise.

That’s invaluable, particularly for people marketing a B2B product or service.

Check out this infographic from IZEA to see how you can get granular on LinkedIn.
