The Ginger Agency announced today it has acquired Saint John-based Bonfire Communications Inc., owned by Allan Gates and Donna Redmond Gates, to form New Brunswick’s largest marketing agency. The combined agency, which will operate under the Ginger brand, will provide clients with a more robust suite of end-to-end strategic marketing and communications services under one roof.
“Bonfire is a highly respected and growing marketing and communications firm with complementary strengths. All Bonfire staff are joining the Ginger Agency with Allan Gates assuming the role of President and Donna Redmond Gates taking on the position of Strategic Counsel. Ginger will continue to be led by Co-CEOs, Andrew Bedford and Kerry Wells.
“This is all about growth. Having the scale, strategic focus and technical expertise needed to provide superior marketing and communications services is vital. Coming together with Ginger gives us the team and capabilities needed to provide even better service to our clients,” said Allan Gates, Cofounder and President of Bonfire Communications. “I am looking forward to working with the Ginger Agency and providing an expanded range of services to our growing roster of clients in New Brunswick and beyond.”
With offices in Fredericton and Saint John, The Ginger Agency’s expanded suite of services includes expertise in strategic marketing, public relations, media buying, digital strategy, and industry leading creative and video production, all in-house.
