Crosby Molasses Co. has a long history of delivering quality products to cooks and bakers across Canada. Their molasses products have been in the homes of Canadians for generations, and they wanted to ensure that their brand reflected their current customers.
Crosby has always put a high standard of quality as the top benchmark for its organization – but understands its consumer and knows that a quality product with sustainable business practices and social responsibility are important pillars of its operations.
With that in mind, Crosby Molasses Company wanted to showcase this pledge to quality and sustainability with a revised brand approach for its flagship product Crosby’s Molasses and its Quebec-market staple, Mélasse Grandma. The new brand approach was brought to life through the websites – zeroing in on a fresh new look and a paired down approach to its recipe database. Now, the two websites showcase Crosby’s and Grandma’s commitment to superior food products that provide an opportunity to bring family and friends together, as well as the environmental and sustainability practices that Crosby has made paramount in its operations.
The new websites were the first in over a decade and have been very well-received by the Crosby’s Molasses and Mélasse Grandma teams. The project began with a collaborative approach to a brand refresh, followed by content outlines, copywriting, and design, followed by web development and quality assurance, testing, with a seamless launch.
